Anatomy 101 Refresher:

This anatomy intensive is for yoga teachers who want to increase their anatomical knowledge. Learn to minimize injury risk, improve verbal teaching cues, and get better at “seeing” bodies so you can guide them. We’ll explore the relationship of tension and compression within different body types and learn to build the asana within different bodies rather than fitting every body into each asana. Focal areas include the most common injury / discomfort sites: knees, hips, lower back and shoulders.

Assisting & Adjusting:

Learn confident hands-on assists to create more space, depth and ease in most asana postures. With an overview of how the body works at a mechanical level, this hands-on intensive will transform your personal practice and provide you with a valuable tool box of touch for assisting and teaching. This live training is perfect for students who want to go deeper, new teachers desiring to assist, and current teachers ready to deepen their hands on adjustment technique.

Body Discovery Flow & Body Scan:

The most effective yoga teachers have learned the art of seeing bodies. In Sole to Soul’s signature Body Discovery Flow & Scan, you’ll learn how to use an exploratory yoga flow as an assessment tool to guide students into a deeper, safer, more transformative asana practice. This workshop style 75 minute flow in- vites you to evaluate and observe movement patterns and needs in the body and is followed by an extended body scan savasana to increase self-awareness and integration. This workshop is open to yoga practitioners and teachers alike.

Gabby holds her 200hr E-RYT and YACEP. She teaches yoga anatomy and rehab based classes and CE workshops. Gabby has a background in vinyasa and Hot 26.Combining her degrees in athletic training and biomechanics, she has created a yoga anatomy course filled with healing, strength and stability within alignment
